Let me take you behind the scenes for a moment and share a little backstory.

I grew up surrounded by fabric, color swatches, fashion magazines, paint, and brushes. As a child, I watched my dad—an artist and architect—paint for hours on end; that was my favorite thing in the world. Shopping for art supplies was more exciting than buying toys.

Being a textile and fashion designer, my mom introduced me to the wonderful world of fashion and textile design. She used to design fabric for furniture in our house, create her own apparel collections (and I was her model sometimes!), and infuse our home with her creative touch. I was mesmerized by all the colors and patterns I found in every store, and I found endless inspiration in my very creative parents.

The scarf I've created is my tribute to the love I have for fashion, art, and architecture, inspired by the artistic legacy of my parents. Combining both of my parents' passions for fashion and art feels like coming full circle. This scarf reflects the creative energy and inspiration that my parents instilled in me.
