I grew up surrounded by fabric, color swatches, fashion magazines, paint, and brushes. As a child, I watched my dad—an artist and architect, paint for hours on end; that was my favorite thing in the world. Shopping for art supplies was more exciting than buying toys. ⠀
Being a textile and fashion designer, my mom introduced me to the wonderful world of fashion and textile design...I was mesmerized with all the colors and patterns I found in every store.
