IMPORTANT: If you or a loved one has recently experienced sudden hearing loss, please SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION RIGHT AWAY. The first 72 hours after experiencing sudden hearing loss are the most important, and you must act fast. A steroid treatment could be the only chance of getting your hearing back, either partially or, in some cases, intratympanic injections may help you regain a significant percentage of your hearing; however, in most cases, this has to be administered during the first 72hrs of the hearing loss onset.
