BEST GUEST ARTIST Award Winner
SHARING GREAT NEWS!
On March 23, Manolis Projects and The Miami School Art Movement (MSAM) unveiled "Miami: Pastel Paradise," a juried exhibition featuring pastel color-based works from a select group of artists.
And some exciting news: I was awarded Best Guest Artist during the opening reception and ceremony — What a great honor! Thanks to the judge, Bruce Helander, renowned art critic, arts writer, curator, artist, and former White House of the National Endowment for the Arts, for selecting my mixed-media painting, Pastel Indigo, as the artwork meriting this recognition. I'm also incredibly grateful to J. Steven Manolis, founder of the gallery, his team, and the Checchi family for giving me this award.
Out of 400 artists that applied to this exclusive gallery, Call for Art, I was selected to be part of the small group of guest artists that participated. We were asked to create a unique piece for this exhibition resulting in this painting, one of my favorites to date, and the unforgettable experience of showing my work among talented artists from all over. I am ecstatic and happy to share this news with you.
